You are more than welcome! Any excuse to post pics of Diane Lane...
Mark Salisbury:
I know what you mean about STREETS OF FIRE. And even though she lip-synched at least they picked someone who you could imagine Lane sounding like when she sang.
You are a very lucky man to have had the opportunity to interview her... even if it was for JUDGE DREDD. ; )
Beautiful! I see you mined the Life Archives, too, for that great shot of Diane on the grass. Anyone seen in CATTLE ANNIE AND LITTLE BRITCHES? Been on my list for awhile, but it's hard to come by.
Y'know, I've been keeping my eyes opening for CATTLE ANNIE just in case it shows up on TV somewheres. I'd love to see TCM show it some day. Weird how it has become such an hard-to-come-by item.

Me too! I've been a fan of hers since way back when she did THE OUTSIDERS and STREETS OF FIRE.
God, that woman is gorgeous! I hope she has a good one. Thanks, J.D.

ReplyDeleteSo the other day, I'm going back over some of your wonderful posts that I missed along the way.
I almost comment on this one because I am so in love with Diane Lane. She is literally the epitome of grace and beauty.
Anyway, I don't comment. Lo and behold you write about Unfaithful today and I just laughed. I loved that film and was disturbed by it.
I felt Diane Lane was cheating on me. : )
Anyway, I haven't had a chance to read that entry, but I will and I will comment there when I have done so.
In the meantime, i loved your tribute to Diane here and I wish you a Happy 4th of July.
Cheers.
